So, let's just point out the obvious. Some players in TMD strive for realism (either in RP or just in general gameplay), and I've been considering it for a while now.
So I was thinking of a layout that would work with such things. With how scattered and plain some RPs get, this could help get a better feel for your character. An actual backstory and skills, RP characters having a non-one-sided personality, all that kinda stuff.
I'm not putting this in Suggestions because I'm not even asking for this to be implemented (it could, but that's up to staff). This is for those of you that enjoy a solid RP or at least semi-realistic gameplay.
    Anyways, here it is.

    Name:
    Age:
    Race:
    Personality:
    Backstory (before the apocalypse) :
Backstory (during the apocalypse to now) :
Major skills (things your character is really good at) :
Minor skills (things your character is slightly good at) :

And, just for the hell of it, let's use the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system. It should affect your abilities in some way depending on how you distribute the points.
To those of you who don't know what S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is, it's a way of determining where your skill points are distributed in Fallout. The acronym goes like this.
    • S - Strength (how much you can carry)
    • P - Perception (how far you can see)
    • E- Endurance (how well you can take damage)
    • C - Charisma (how persuasive you can be and how well you can talk to others)
    • I - Intelligence (self explanatory)
    • A - Agility (self explanatory)
    • L - Luck (self explanatory)
I'll explain the parameters of these S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills further down the thread.
These skills can be what could make or break your character. So distribute the points wisely.
The base amount is 5 on each (which you can remove and redistribute to other S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills) with 5 points to distribute to whichever ones you want. Maximum amount for each S.P.E.C.I.A.L skill is 10.
So it'd look a little something like this:
    S: 5
    P: 5
    E: 5
    C: 5
    I: 5
    A: 5
    L: 5
    5 more points to spend!

    Parameters and descriptions

Strength - as it's said above, it affects how much you can carry in your inventory
    It goes as follows:
    S1 - 100
    S2 - 125
    S3 - 150
    S4 - 175
    S5 - 200
    S6 - 225
    S7 - 250
    S8 - 275
    S9 - 300
    S10 - 325
Perception - I won't do like I did above, because this is simple. Are you blind as a bat, very perceptive, or something in between?
Endurance - As said above, it's how well you take damage (in-RP, this has no bearing on armor strength or weapon damage in-game). Either you have thick skin, you bruise easily, or something in between.
Charisma - Are you introverted, kinda talkative, or a social butterfly?
Intelligence - Are you as dumb as a sack of potatoes, at least got a basic education, or PhD smart?
Agility - This all depends on how at balance you are with yourself. Do you stumble by simply just walking or could you free-run the Atlanta ruins no problem?
Luck - Chances, chances, chances. This determines how lucky you are in this zombie-filled world.

Weight values factor into the Strength stat. Exceeding your weight limit will slow you down.
    Foods and medical items
Basic food items (carrots, apples, potatoes, bread) : 1

    Assault Rifle Magazine: 1
    Sniper Magazine: 1
Box of LMG Bullets (LMG "Clip" as it's named) : 5
    Crossbow Bolt: 0.2
    RPG-7 Rocket: 0.5
    Vehicles
    Motorcycles: 45
    Cars: 50
With weight being a factor in this, you have to learn how to distribute it so you don't exceed your limit and become over-encumbered. Then you'll end up as some Walker's dinner.

So, long story short if you skimmed all of this:
This thread is for RP (or realism) character creation, like character sheets for Dungeons & Dragons.
    It uses the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system.
And carry weight is something you should consider while doing this if you're going for realism. Hence is why I made weight values for items.

    Format:

    Name:
    Age:
    Race:
    Personality:
    Backstory (before the apocalypse) :
Backstory (during the apocalypse to now) :
Major skills (things your character is really good at) :
Minor skills (things your character is slightly good at) :

    S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Stats
    S: 5
    P: 5
    E: 5
    C: 5
    I: 5
    A: 5
    L: 5
    5 more points to spend!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy this! :D

As a RPer myself on Havoc many times, I see this, as, no offense, but plainly stupid.
You can't try to regulate RPing. If you try to regulate it too much people don't want to RP.

I know this is just a helpful thing, but honestly, it's just stupid.
Honestly if people follow this system then it doesn't want to make me RP on Havoc.

RP, one of the greatest things about it, is it's free-flowing and it's fun to do because you get to play around with the "laws" and such.
I mean, what's the chance of a zombie apocalypse actually happening irl?

Also, it helps people break out of who they are irl and be somebody else. They might want to always be that courageous hero, or that blade singing killer.

I don't like this, and if there was a dislike option, I'd click it.

This just does not make sense at all and restricts RP.

So it's stupid to have an ongoing character (or multiple) with an actual character sheet instead of just the same old "I'm a guy/girl from the military and I have 15+ years military training" or "I come from a family of hunters and I know how to use a rifle"
I didn't know people wanted to use the same old bland way of doing RP. Excuse me!!!

    I'm not saying that.

I'm saying that let people do what they want and let the RP community (as long with the people in the RP) decide on this stuff, not some random person :/

I made this as a way for players to do it if they wanted.
I'm not forcing anyone to do it. They can on their own volition.
I just think this way is neater than that messy, unfollowable way that happens ever so often.

Can't have any thread on here without people getting mad at me...
